Purpose
Acid cleaning of internal and external surfaces of equipment made of carbon and alloy steels. Supplied as a liquid concentrate; the working solution is prepared on site.
What it removes
- Scale and carbonate deposits.
- Iron oxides: rust, mill scale, corrosion products.
- Mixed mineral deposits on heat exchange surfaces.
Where it is used
- Boilers — operational and pre-commissioning cleaning.
- Heat exchangers, condensers, heaters.
- Pipelines and vessels.
- New equipment — removal of mill scale and rust after installation.
Place in the cleaning process
The main stage of chemical flushing. With oil and organic contamination it is preceded by degreasing (AlphaCleaner BF, AlphaCleaner B), and followed by water rinsing and passivation (AlphaCleaner PC).
